Board of Directors

The Board of Directors is elected by IIAFA active members and is responsible for setting the principles, rules and fundamentals in the performance of the Anti-fraud Forensic Auditing, as well as to ensure the future of the organization as a whole.

The Board has authority over the admission of members, the standards for certification of the Anti-fraud Forensic Auditor (AFA), establishes requirements for continuing professional education and is also responsible for establishing, modifying and enforcing the IIAFA Code of Professional Ethics and all other matters necessary to maintain the high standards of IIAFA.

Any Active Member who meets the requirements of the statutes can apply for a position on the board. Elections are held every five years to fill vacancies.
